General terms and conditions of sale
The Green Codex company distributes and sells products of intellectual and/or artistic value (e.g. books, training courses, paintings, etc.), particularly through activities in the fields of publishing, self-publishing and training (e.g. personal development, writing, book publishing, etc.). Products related to the above mentioned activities are also sold.
We offer, among other things, books in paper, audio and digital versions, training courses, lithographs and reproductions in different formats and media, t-shirts, etc.
Prices for products sold directly through The Green Codex website (https://thegreencodex.com/) are quoted inclusive of French VAT and in euros (€). For foreign buyers, the price may vary according to the rate in effect in their country.
For sales to our partner sites, please consult their own terms and conditions of sale.
For the purchase of dematerialised products, such as ebooks, your order will be made available (downloadable) as soon as the payment has been verified by our bank.
Physical products, such as paper books and paintings, are subject to a standard delivery time of 5 to 7 working days. If you have not received your parcel after 14 days, please inform us by email at contact@thegreencodex.com with the subject line: Awaiting delivery “Order number or name on the invoice”.
For delivery costs, they are charged to the customer for books printed in France by our Imprim’Vert label printer and are offered if the customer chooses the formula in partnership with Amazon. For prints on canvas and posters, shipping costs are offered to the customer.

The Green Codex offers payment by credit card using a secure e-transaction system with our bank: Le Crédit Agricole.

Concerning the right of withdrawal, you have the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days (starting the day after the signature of the contract/purchase) for “physical” products (non-exhaustive list: paper book, print on canvas, poster, …). Upon receipt of your wish to exercise this right, The Green Codex will proceed to a refund (price of the good and related shipping costs) within 14 days using by default the same payment method used at the time of purchase. In case of failure of reimbursement by this means of payment, The Green Codex will contact you in order to proceed in another way, in which case the deadline for reimbursement may be postponed by 5 days. Upon receipt of your request, The Green Codex will contact you in order to send you the return address of the product and to confirm your request. You must then return the product to The Green Codex within a reasonable and not excessive timeframe. You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the product. Warning: the product must not be depreciated beyond the essential and necessary handling to establish its good working order, its characteristics and/or its nature. You are liable if the product is no longer considered to be in excellent condition.
When purchasing a dematerialised product, such as an ebook, an audio book or a training course, giving you access to a downloadable product, we will not accept any retraction once the product has been downloaded by the customer. Indeed, we cannot ensure that you will destroy the file after withdrawal.
By purchasing a dematerialised product from our website The Green Codex (https://thegreencodex.com/), you waive your right of withdrawal.
For the time limits and conditions for cancelling the order of products sold on partner sites, please refer to their own legal notice or general terms and conditions of sale.
If you receive a “physical” product with a manufacturing defect (legal guarantee of conformity), please contact us at contact@thegreencodex.com describing the problem and adding photographs to your email with the subject line Manufacturing defect “Order number or name on the invoice”. We will contact you to resolve the problem.

At the moment we only sell books in French.
For all countries other than France, only delivery in partnership with Amazon is available.
For Switzerland and Belgium, if you wish to order books other than through our Amazon partnership, please contact us (commande-libraire@thegreencodex.com) and we will try to see what can be done.
This supplement to the general terms and conditions of sale does not in any way replace the latter.
By ordering a book from The Green Codex, the bookseller accepts the following terms and conditions of sale.
Booksellers wishing to order a book can do so:

We have chosen Print on Demand (POD) in order to be more respectful of the environment by reducing the carbon footprint of a book (elimination of piling, elimination of storage, limitation of the number of transports).
Our books can be printed in two ways:
- Using a French printer & Imprim’Vert (France only)
- In partnership with Amazon
Bookshops wishing to order a book may do so under the following conditions:
- In order not to sell at a loss, the minimum order is 3 books;
- The basic discount granted to the bookseller is 30% of the price of the book, excluding VAT;
- For an order of more than 5 books (6+), the basic discount granted to the bookseller is 32% of the price of the book excluding VAT;
- For an order of 3 to 5 books, the shipping costs are shared 50/50 between the publisher and the bookseller;
- For an order of 6 books or more (6+), the shipping costs are offered to the bookseller and therefore paid by the publisher The Green Codex ;
- Possibility of free delivery for an order of 3 to 5 books if the order is made in partnership with Amazon;
- Orders are sent by standard delivery, they can also be sent by express delivery, but the shipping costs are then charged to the bookseller/customer;
- If the order is confirmed, an invoice will be issued by The Green Codex and the bookseller will have 30 days to pay it from the date of the invoice. Please note! The books ordered will only be shipped upon receipt of payment.
- The products invoiced by The Green Codex are the property of the buyer as soon as they are collected or shipped.
- Defective books may be returned to The Green Codex, for which the bookseller must inform The Green Codex within one week of receipt of the products, The Green Codex will then contact the bookseller to establish the terms of return and the shipping costs will be paid by the publisher. If the bookseller returns the defective products without following the return procedure previously established, the cost of postage will be paid by the bookseller.
- The Green Codex is a hard-sell company and all purchases from The Green Codex are final. Return of unsold products is not allowed.
Important information:
For reasons of respect for the purchasing power of readers and profitability, the book Le Grand Œuvre – Le voyage alchimique can only be ordered in the formula in partnership with Amazon.
